The Lake Wilmore Park Recreation Center is located at 2000 Grove Hill Road, Suite 200 (up the street from the Ogletree Elementary School). The Lake Wilmore Park Recreation Center is a brand-new facility featuring a fitness center, indoor track, basketball courts, pickleball courts and pool.

Future Opening Phases

Other elements of Lake Wilmore — including walking and mountain bike trails — will continue to open as different components of the project are completed. Visitors are reminded to stay away from active construction zones on the property for everyone’s safety. Please stay tuned for further announcements regarding upcoming events, activities and future opening dates.

Monday - Thursday

  • 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Friday

  • 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Saturday

  • 8 a.m. - Noon

Sunday

  • 1 - 6 p.m.

Pickleball Courts Hours

The courts are open daily from sunrise to 9 p.m. unless otherwise reserved or designated for a Parks and Recreation program. Restrooms are available inside the recreation center during the center’s regular hours. There are a total of 18 covered courts.

Lake Wilmore Pickleball Courts Cleaning Schedule:

Daily: Courts closed Mon.–Fri., 1–2 p.m. for daily cleaning

Deep Clean: First Wednesday of odd months (Sept., Nov., Jan., Mar., May, July), courts closed 6 a.m.–3 p.m. (moved to 2nd Wednesday if the 1st falls on a holiday)

Lake Wilmore Park Athletic Fields

Located at 2101 Grove Hill Road, the complex features four multi-purpose synthetic fields designed to accommodate football and lacrosse games and practices, as well as baseball and softball practices. Amenities include LED field lighting, a combined restroom/concessions/storage building, and a playground for children ages 5–12.
