At the Auburn Public Library, we are proud to offer a wide variety of collections to serve the diverse needs and interests of our community. Alongside our large selection of traditional books, movies, and digital resources, we also maintain a growing set of unconventional collections that encourage lifelong learning, creativity, and exploration.
Adult Collections
Our adult collections offer something for every interest, from bestselling novels and thought-provoking nonfiction to movies, music, and magazines. Materials are organized to make browsing easy, whether you’re searching for your next great read, exploring a new subject, or relaxing with entertainment. These collections are designed to support lifelong learning, enrichment, and enjoyment for the Auburn community.

- Nonfiction (000-999) – arranged by subject using the Dewey Decimal System.
- Large Print (LP) – fiction arranged alphabetically by the author’s last name; nonfiction arranged by Dewey Decimal subject.
- Graphic Books (GB) – arranged by subject using Dewey Decimal.

Youth Collections
Our youth collections are designed to spark imagination, encourage a love of reading, and support learning at every stage of childhood.
