Something suspicious is afoot in the library…
Bill Ding, the original architect of our beloved library, had strong opinions about a lot of things, but none stronger than his opposition to the now-completed (and very accessible!) restroom renovation. Bill met his untimely end under mysterious circumstances one year ago.
The case went cold. But now? It’s heating up faster than a forgotten mug of tea in the staff room microwave.
Do you fancy yourself a detective? A mystery buff? Just here for something to do between holds? Perfect. You’ve been recruited to help crack the case… Welcome to An Unfortunate Demise at the Library, a self-guided murder mystery scavenger hunt that will take you through the shelves, secrets and suspicious characters lurking around the library.
Only the sharpest minds will uncover the truth.
🧩 Who killed Bill Ding?
🪓 What weapon was used?
🕵️♂️ And most importantly… why did they do it?
It all begins at the Front Desk. Ask for your first clue, and try to act natural (or at least mysterious). From there, you’ll scour the library, follow the breadcrumbs, interrogate suspiciously chatty signage and put your detective skills to the ultimate test.
